I respect you more than I did before. I really, really do. For anyone to do that for so long, it's amazing that you're still you. I'm kind of curious about one thing though;

Do you ever regret it?

I don't really have much to say about the outbreaks, as those were always so far away from me and my jurisdiction that I couldn't possibly be held responsible anyway.

I don't really feel sorry about the games; they were all prisoners who were never going to get off the island alive. They were just going to die anyway; if anything I kept them from being locked up on that godforsaken rock longer than necessary, and I wasn't wasting resources on them.

What happened to my father, though...

I don't know. I'm not exactly sorry for doing it, but I don't like that it came to that, and if it could have been done another way I would have preferred that. I don't know how to describe it very well - I feel that he deserved it, but I don't like it.

I'd rather be put out of my misery if I was stuck in prison for the rest of my life too, but I don't think I'd want to go out like that. It sounds like it'd be painful but that probably depends on what kind of monsters you put in with them I think.

He's your dad though so I think it's natural to not like it. You and your sister are strong people for being able to handle all of it.

Yes and no. We had a mission to infiltrate humanity and find something, but I really did enjoy the time I spent as a soldier.

Yeah. We weren't able to capture it though. That was right before I turned up here.

Despite missing Reiner and Annie, yeah. It's...

It's peaceful here for the most part. Even though I'm one of them, I still have to worry about getting eaten. I don't have to worry about needing a place to sleep or going hungry too, not to mention I've discovered a bunch of new things to try. It's not home-home, but it's close.

What about you?

Well, it's a little boring here, and I don't have my weapons so that's a little grating; I have a large gun collection back home, among other large-artillery weapons and vehicles like tanks and what have you. And of all things, I miss my jets.

I also have business to attend to whenever I'm returned home - it's something I've been looking forward to for quite some time, and it's incredibly important.

But...I don't know. If time really doesn't pass for us back home - as they like to claim it doesn't - then maybe I wouldn't mind staying. For quite some time, even.

If you ever find anything like that maybe you could show me how they worked. We never had much in terms of firearms or heavy artillery, and in return if I ever find a set of 3DMG from my world I could show you that. I came here with the harness for it still on my body but everything else was gone.

Three-Dimensional Maneuver Gear. It's what we use against the other Titans. I had it for a little while when we were all in that castle but I nearly blacked out after I used it for too long, so I don't know what happened with that.

Do you think I could meet her if she ever shows up? She seems like she'd be okay just from the way you talk about her.
