A former comrade said she was being tortured. It'd be one thing if we were normal people because our bodies would give out eventually, but we can heal any injuries we get. Whenever I think about that, it's... It's not a good place for me to be.

It'd be one thing if they had me above ground, but underground it'd be suicide. Not to mention if they had my friends down there, I'd risk killing them in the process of shifting.

She just got me when I was leaning over... I've been kicked by worse, but her... shoes? I think they were shoes, they were made out of wood.

She just got my chin. It's really not as bad as it sounds... It just hurts. I've never had to let something heal on its own before like this.

Hopefully for your sake you don't injure yourself any worse than that, then; it's not a pleasant process.

As long as I don't lose any limbs or get my throat cut I think I'll be okay.

Well, that's fair. (It doesn't hurt, by the way, once the initial dying part is over.)

I'd be more concerned about breaking bones somehow; I've managed a few times, it's not pleasant either way. But at the very least those have to be either a spectacular accident or a really deliberate attempt most of the time.

I've broken my legs a few times when I was younger but I can't imagine how long they'd take to heal normally... I don't think I could keep my sanity if I was stuck in bed for over a month.

But if... anything happened, if I did end up losing an arm or a leg, could you--?
